- Champion Data Quality and Governance: Implement and champion best practices in data validation, documentation, version control, and monitoring to establish strong trust and reliability in our data assets.
- Mentor and Lead: Provide technical guidance and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration within the broader data analytics team.
What does success look like?
- Within one month, gain a solid understanding of our existing data infrastructure, key data sources, and reporting needs; establish strong working relationships with the Analytics and Data Engineering teams.
- Within two months, contribute to the optimization of existing data pipelines and begin working on the design and implementation of new data models or transformations to support ongoing analytical projects.
- Within three months, independently build and deploy reliable data pipelines, actively monitor data quality and performance, and contribute to the development of data documentation and best practices.
