Solutions Architect, Digital Health Solutions
Location: UK (Field based living in the South of UK)
Due to the rapid expansion of our connectivity solution, we have a mega exciting opportunity, within our ambitious Patient Monitoring & Life Support UK function, focusing on solution selling.
For this national role, we are looking for an assertive and persuasive connectivity expert with knowledge and experience of hospital environments to develop this role, well versed in IT and connected solutions, you will have been in an IT connectivity position working with hospitals and understanding their workflows. Charismatic and commercial astute, you will work hand in hand with various internal and external stakeholders being instrumental in driving successful solution design of our M-Connect portfolio across the UK.
Primarily responsible for working in partnership with sales to drive the growth of our connectivity solution, this role helps develop relationships and commercial agreements with third parties (EMRs, Integrators, local partners), is the expert for Connectivity, and helps develop the market and the business through the promotion of our story and our products to Customers and Sales Teams.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with key third party partners, implementing new business agreements and joint commercial initiatives with EMRs & integrators at the national level to expand market coverage
- Work with partners to promote Mindray Connectivity products through showrooms, congresses, and joint marketing campaigns
- Increase attention from partners to the Mindray solutions
- Align with UK Sales on partner approach and management strategy
Connectivity Expertise
- Understand local unmet needs and identify solutions and vendors that fill customer needs
- Consult on solutions and help develop quotes for connectivity projects
- Run training programs and one-on-ones to elevate product and skills knowledge of our sales teams
- Developing the sales team to maximize “solution selling” capability to increase the business and size of deals
- Understands the trends and innovations of the market and provide input into New Product Development via our product specialist team
Market & Business Development
- Support sales teams by visiting Customers to help present, sell and support Connectivity as our key differentiator, particularly in larger deals
- Track growth KPIs
- Understand and demonstrates Proof of Concept
- Articulate the value-based selling of Mindray connectivity
- Establish relationships with IT influencers / KOLs to promote the Mindray connectivity solutions
- Present our solutions at Congresses
Technical Side
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of connectivity requirements, current clinical practice, and products / technologies
- Act as the primary technical expert for Mindray’s M-Connect solutions
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Networking.
- Comprehensive experience in a Sales / Commercial role with exposure to EMR or Healthcare IT systems
- Experience in IT commercial / reseller agreements
- Technical knowledge of wireless shielding issues in a medical environment
- Able to work in the country for which you are applying without the requirement of company sponsorship

- Sound business acumen and experience in developing commercial agreements
- Ability to manage complex selling situations involving multiple stakeholders and complex solution.
- Enhanced level of technical and professional expertise to help scope projects and find solutions in connected devices, network installations and EMR connectivity options
- Hospital workflow understanding and end-user connectivity requirements to translate into technical and EMR connectivity workflows solutions
- Clear understanding of the customer’s network capabilities and IT infrastructure
- Understanding of TCP/IP and other associated protocols
- Knowledge of Desktop and Server operating systems – primarily Microsoft based W10, Svr2012/16/19
- Understanding of general hospital IT workflows and IT systems for example Imaging, PACS, PAS, EMR HIS, LIS, PDMS
- Strong understanding of communication standards such like HL7/FHIR/DICOM and related standards for the exchange, integration, sharing and retrieval of electronic health information
- Wide understanding of networking (LAN, WLAN, RLAN, etc.), Wireless Protocols IEEE 802.11 (A B G N)
- Preferred: General understanding of cyber security standards and accreditations
- Ability to work PERMANENTLY in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship
