Overview

Empire Office is currently seeking an In-House Stylist to join our team. This is a Remote position with extensive domestic travel. This position will support our new hospitality and residential division and provide final styling for our U.S.-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to various job sites across the country to execute styling of accessories, lighting and artwork
Develop a strong understanding of client’s brand identity as well as its various aesthetics by market
Provide design expertise to ensure styling meets client’s needs and style
Partner with Empire installers and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time & in perfect condition
Anticipate and problem-solve any potential issues that may arise during installation & communicate clearly with Empire merchandising team
Demonstrate superior project knowledge
Occasionally shop in local stores for last-minute fill-in pieces to complete projects
Strive to provide world-class client service

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

Must have experience in interior design or home styling
2 – 5 years of customer service and retail sales experience
Must be comfortable with frequent travel across the country. (Up to 80%)
Excellent communication, clienteling, and follow-up skills
Passion for creating beautiful spaces
Ability to complete and coordinate large and complex orders for multiple projects
Experience working at major residential home décor retailers (West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, etc.) is highly preferred
Proven ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency
