About the role:

Foodsmart is seeking a dynamic Technical Recruiter to drive hiring for engineering, product, and design teams. In this role, you’ll own the entire recruitment lifecycle, strategically identifying, engaging, and securing top technical talent. As a trusted talent partner to hiring managers, you will shape high-performing teams while refining our hiring processes and employer brand.

You will:
  • Full Recruitment Lifecycle Ownership: Recruit for engineering, product, and design roles, supporting hiring managers in finding and securing the right talent. You’ll manage sourcing, screening, and coordination throughout the hiring process, ensuring a strong pipeline and great candidate experience.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Implement creative strategies to proactively identify and engage top talent for Foodsmart. Utilize various channels to build a robust pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates who align with our mission and values.
  • Positive Candidate Experience: Champion a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process, ensuring that candidates feel valued and well-informed.
  • Creative Outreach: Engage in creative outreach efforts, utilizing various channels to attract and connect with candidates. Organize marketing campaigns on job boards, industry websites, and other applicant-facing channels to enhance Foodsmart's visibility.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Utilize data to track and analyze metrics, providing insights to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process.

  • You are:
  • Strategic Talent Partner: Guide hiring managers with market insights and data-driven strategies to attract top engineering, product, and design talent. Collaborate effectively, aligning hiring needs while providing thoughtful recommendations and pushback when necessary.
  • Collaborative: Exhibit a collaborative spirit as you partner with Foodsmart hiring managers to deeply understand their work and talent needs. Additionally, collaborate with colleagues to address shared challenges and innovate collective solutions.
  • Driven and Urgent: Bring a high level of self-motivation to manage day-to-day activities and pipelines with a sense of urgency.
  • Resourceful Problem Solver: Display resourcefulness by conducting research, asking questions, and creatively solving challenges

  • You have:
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Proven experience hiring across engineering, product, and design roles at all levels. In-house and search firm experience preferred.
  • A self-motivated, high-urgency approach with a strong commitment to execution and results.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of recruiting tools, platforms, and strategies, including Lever (or similar ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing techniques to attract top technical talent.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment while maintaining a strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.
