Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for improving the customer experience and operational efficiency of large dental installations across the U.S. This role plans and coordinates all large-scale installations in advance with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes. This role will develop more efficient installation and planning processes and ensure local installation teams follow standardized processes and maintain strong communication and collaboration throughout the project. Regular travel is required to address and resolve installation challenges in key areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with Operations Leadership to develop and execute strategic goals focused on installation effectiveness, productivity, and profitability targets. Provide feedback to Operations Managers on technician performance and implement initiatives to improve installation effectiveness across key areas to drive technician efficiency on installs.
  • Develop strong leadership-level partnerships with local Operations Managers, Area Operations Managers, Area Service Managers/Supervisors, Equipment Coordination Specialists, and Service Coordinators to identify and develop corrective plans for operational process breakdowns and inefficiencies in the installation process for large installations.
  • Identify skillset and process gaps and collaborate with the Training Team to identify areas of improvement to ensure installation technicians perform efficiently, effectively, and at the highest possible levels on high-profile installations.
  • Owns the pre-installation planning process and coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure efficient, on-time installations that exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to ensure Equipment Installation Technicians are assigned to jobs appropriately based on time requirements and skills sets needed for the specific installation.
  • Partner with Sales Management to support sales initiatives by ensuring all required equipment is accurately ordered and ready for installation, enabling a smooth and successful execution.
  • Develop and implement regular reports on key initiatives and progress towards goals.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel is expected in the assigned geography with expanded travel throughout the broader area roughly 25%.  No special physical demands required.
