Field Service Engineer

Are you the right person to ensure the future of food processing equipment is in good hands?

As our new Field Service Engineer in Ireland, you will be the front-line field service representative, responsible for fulfilling customer expectations during field service activities, and will ensure:

• Excellent performance of troubleshooting, repair, installation & maintenance for Marel machinery
• Preparation of installation and maintenance activities, aftercare of new installations, and close communication with the customer while reporting progress
• Remote technical support for our customers and partners based on guidelines for handling inquiries, prioritisation, escalation, Remote Fix/Calibration etc 
• Training customers on JBT Marel equipment/solutions
• Escalating situations where service delivery to the customer is compromised, according to company processes, to ensure the right support is provided
• Identifying sales and service opportunities
• Technical & quality reporting

What kind of a person are you?

• Are an electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer. Experience in an equipment/software manufacturing environment preferred, ideally in the food industry
• Are a confident communicator with analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Have the ability to execute agreed tasks and deadlines against performance criteria (KPI)
• Have good customer face-to-face interaction skills and commercial service skills
• Are computer literate, with excellent written and spoken English
