Overview of Role

66degrees is seeking a senior contractor to engage on a 2 months remote assignment for approximately 45 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills in Golang.

Please note: Candidates must be available to start by first week of May.

Requirements

Ability to work UK Hours (morning overlap with US time), 45 hours a week for a 2 months of contract without disruption.

5 years of recent and hands-on Golang experience
Cloud experience is required (GCP/ AWS/ Azure); Recent experience with GCP is preferred and considered precedent however not a disqualifier
Experience in migrations and working with BigTable.
Experience with database- ScyllaDB
Kafka experience.

Proven ability to Test, validate and review the solution.
Experience working in a highly automated agile environment where changes are pushed
Familiar with the scrum process and Git.
Strong communication skills.
