Hiring! Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Portland, Maine

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Our team is currently looking for a licensed Clinical Social Worker who will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team in a medical setting. This role focuses on providing mental health support, case management, and therapeutic interventions for individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges.  Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and formulate treatment plans.
  • Provide short-term and long-term therapeutic interventions tailored to the healthcare setting.
  • Coordinate patient care and discharge planning with hospital staff, outpatient providers, and community resources.
  • Assist patients and families in navigating healthcare systems, including insurance, financial assistance, and social services.
  • Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops on mental health topics.
  • Address social determinants of health that impact patient recovery, such as housing, employment, and access to care.
  • Advocate for patient rights and ensure culturally competent, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development initiatives

Requirements

Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience with mental health patients

Education:

  • Master's Degree (Required)

License:

  • Active LCSW/LMFT issued in the state of ME

Qualifications:

  • Ability and willingness to be credentialed with various insurance agencies
  • Obtain NPI numbers
  • Ability to create and implement functional treatment plans
  • Personal/Professional Liability Insurance
