Job description


As a CNA with NurseCore, you will provide essential care to a patient in his home, ensuring his comfort and safety while supporting his overall well-being. Assist with personal care needs, and collaborate with nurses to ensure the best outcomes.
 
South West - Rhodes Ranch
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
12-hour shifts
Overtime offered after 40 hours/week

What you'll do:
  • Evaluates the safety of the delivery of care in the home environment in adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and policies
  • Provides care in compliance with the assigned care plan and RN delegation
  • Provides personal care, runs errands, helps with meals, supports mobility, performs light housekeeping, and delivers companion services
  • Practices safety and universal precautions, infection control and uses appropriate protective equipment to protect patients and self
  • Attends and completes all assigned in-services and trainings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What it takes:
  • Available to work 12 hour shifts 7am - 7pm, Mon - Thu. 
  • Drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CNA licensure (from accredited school/institution) in the State of Nevada
  • Current CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association standards
  • 1+ years of hands-on work experience 
  • Negative TB/PPD, or Quantiferon, or Chest X-ray (within the last 12 mos)
  • Successful completion of background check.
