JOB TITLE: Managed Services Engineer/Network Engineer

RATE: Php 416.67 per hour (Php 70k per month)

Work Type: Remote|Fulltime

Working Hours : M-F and 8am to 5pm EST (8 PM - 5 AM PH Time)

JOB OVERVIEW:

The client is one of the fastest growing Technology Consulting and Managed Services Providers in the country, and is looking for an A+ individual to deliver remote administration and support services to our clients in the Eastern US. This is a hands-on role with an emphasis on networking, but also inclusive of server management and security tasks. The ultimate measure of this role is delighting customers.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver customer service and value in ways that others can't match. That's part of our culture.
Manage customer's mission critical infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and servers ensuring their health and security.
Monitor events, incidents and performance and provide the frontline response to them to assure the availability of the network and compute resources.
Provide prompt response and courteous service to all customer requests. Be known for excellence in communication.
Exhibit tenacity and critical thinking when triaging critical customer service or security issues.
Create a repeatable and high cadence in the fundamental IT Operations tasks.
Follow consistent change management principles in a thorough fashion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3-6 years of experience in advanced networking and mission critical computing environments.
Strong understanding of network protocols and services
Proven experience with Fortinet and Cisco networking solutions.
Proven experience with Windows Server and virtual machine management.
Citrix VDI experience is a plus
Logic Monitor experience is a strong plus
Strong trouble shooting skills and operational discipline.
Fortinet NSE, CCNP or CCIE, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications are a definitive plus.
