JOB TITLE: Sales Representative

LOCATION: Nigeria

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Remote

SALARY BUDGET: Open for negotiation based on experience (Up to N600,000 Net plus commission)

EXPERIENCE LENGTH: At least 3-5 years

SUMMARY

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to manage and expand sales of industrial equipment, particularly compressors, within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying prospects, generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves direct customer visits, preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and maintaining consistent communication with key accounts. The position also includes market research, reporting sales activities, and actively contributing to business growth strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively in English with international teams (notably Anest Iwata Japan) are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, visit and sell industrial equipment to customers in assigned area.
  • Develop, find and retain quality customers in the assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by identifying specific sales prospects, targets and markets and developing action plans and timelines to forecast contact volumes.
  • Manage, visit and directly sell to customers in the assigned territory and be actively involved in planned prospecting activities to expand the customer base.
  • Build trust by following up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities and staying in regular contact with existing and new accounts, especially key accounts.
  • Responding quickly to customer inquiries, introducing new products and upgrades, researching customer needs, and providing service to customers are essential skills that sales representatives need to master in product sales.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, prices, and credit terms.
  • Maintain a professional image always through personal actions and initiative.
  • Enhance the reputation and brand image of the department and the company by consistently implementing the company's core values of Commitment, Interaction, and Innovation.
  • Obtain, develop, prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs when attending trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
  • Sales representatives are expected to update their job continually knowledge (both product and sales/marketing strategies and skills) through attending educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Generate assigned reports, including activity, lost sales, wins, follow-up, and performance against budget. These reports may also include special developments, information and feedback gathered through field activities, such as recommendations for products, services or pricing changes and competitive landscape assessments.·         Business Reporting and action plan shared in periodic meetings with Anest Iwata Japan team.


Requirements

·         Minimum of 3 years of direct sales of compressor or customer service experience of compressor or industrial equipment sales experience.
·         A degree in engineering, business, or marketing preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred.
·         Be able to communicate in English with Anest Iwata Japan.
·         Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
·         Be self-directed.
·         Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
·         Demonstrated business analysis skills.
·         Possess and hold a valid driver's license.



Benefits
Up to N600,000 Net salary plus commission
