Description

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriter Inspection Rep for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Our Client is one of the United States’ largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premiums well over US$25 Billion (P&C). Role Description:

Evaluates and determines new business by applying the current acceptable maintenance and condition expectations (AMCE), as well as personal underwriting judgement for information found in the physical inspection of the property.

Validates the accuracy of home replacement cost submitted by the agency and assessed by the inspection vendor. 

Understands risk by evaluating inspection reports to determine whether a policy can be renewed and under what terms, if coverage can continue.

Will analyze pictures from vendors to review home condition and determine policy continuity.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, will work with a team in the US
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • General Insurance or Underwriting/Claims knowledge
  • Basic understanding of home maintenance, general contracting as it relates to home build
