We are seeking a skilled Engineer Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable data infrastructure and solutions. In this role, you will manage significant volumes of clinical and operational data, ensuring data availability, reliability, and governance for analytical and operational purposes.
As an Engineer Developer you will:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data management systems that facilitate secure and efficient access to enterprise data.
Automate monitoring, performance testing, and proactive infrastructure maintenance to ensure data systems’ reliability and robustness.
Create and maintain data abstractions, APIs, and standardized interfaces, simplifying data consumption and integration for application teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and application teams to continuously refine data governance, standards, procedures, and best practices.
Evaluate, integrate, and manage new data sources, enhancing the organization’s ability to perform advanced analytics and generate clinical insights.
Identify opportunities and implement improvements for enhanced data quality, efficiency, reliability, and overall platform performance.
Train and support internal teams and stakeholders on effective use of data solutions and infrastructure.
Support strategic IT initiatives and projects, contributing expert advice in data engineering, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in data engineering with strong experience in cloud infrastructure and platform development.
Expertise in automation and infrastructure-as-code practices, including data pipelines, CI/CD, and data contracts.
Technical proficiency with:
Python, Databricks (PySpark), SQL
Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Purview)
Familiarity and hands-on experience with various data ingestion methodologies:
ETL/ELT
Change Data Capture (CDC)
Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Hubs)
File-based ingestion
Strong ability to develop robust, data-centric APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable working closely with diverse stakeholders.
Experience working in regulated environments, adhering strictly to computerized system validation (CSV) standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
