Arizona’s first and only autism-focused charter school is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 25-26 school year. The SLPA’s primary focus is to work directly with a Speech Language Pathologist to administer school-based speech-language treatment plans as written in each child’s IEP. Additionally, the SLPA will help integrate therapies in the classroom and provide support to the speech-language pathologist in the new state-of-the-art autism center.

Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor classroom environment working with students who may need behavioral supports.
