Grand Canyon University's College of Theology is seeking an engaging and dedicated Online Adjunct Faculty Member to teach HEB-501 Elementary Hebrew I. This course introduces biblical Hebrew with a focus on grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and the use of linguistic tools for translation and interpretation of selected passages.

As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a crucial role in delivering program instruction in an online format. You’ll have the opportunity to incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and the latest trends in the field to engage and inspire students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Leadership: Provide high-quality, engaging, and effective instruction for HEB-501 Elementary Hebrew I.

  • Classroom Engagement: Facilitate online classroom discussions, ensuring students understand course material and concepts.

  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to guide students toward academic success.

  • Student Success: Equip students with the necessary skills to become successful leaders in ministry and Christian studies.

  • Modeling Values: Support and uphold the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University by serving as a positive example to students.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate from an accredited institution.

  • At least 18 graduate credits in Old Testament, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Hebrew.

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the pastorate or postsecondary teaching.
