Key responsabilities:

  • Manage QWCT (Quality, Weight, Cost, Timing) for assigned parts and lead program-related meetings.
  • Develop and execute Design Verification Plans for seat systems/components, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Create and maintain project timing/Gantt charts and coordinate design intent with various teams.
  • Lead the integration of seating components into the overall seat system.

Job Description

  • QWCT (Quality, Weight, Cost, Timing) management for assigned parts.


Responsibilities

  • Attend program related meetings: To4, Seat complete, EMMs, TDRMs, supplier meetings, purchasing meetings, etc. Some of them should be led by the D&R Engineer.
  • Develop and execute Seat system/component level Design Verification Plans, support vehicle/system level DVP, and ensure compliance to all System Design Specifications (SDS) and Federal Regulations including unique Export Market Requirements.
  • Create and maintain a timing/Gantt chart (PDP) for assigned parts and project.
  • Keep a prevent recurrence actions /lessons learned / required design rules list, and cascade to Core team.
  • Coordinate with other areas to make sure design intent meets all requirements (Seat Complete, Seat Structure, Seat Features, Studio, Safety, Craftsmanship, VO, PVT, Supplier, Tool shop, Purchasing, Finance, Program, etc.)
  • Lead integration of seating components into the seat system


Qualifications

A Bachelor of engineering on: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial or related.

  • MS Office expertise (including Project).
  • Proficient English (Reading, listening and writing).
  • Seat system or component parts design and manufacturing knowledge/experience.
  • Product development and parts verification/validation experience.
  • FEDE, ADS, FSMS, GPDS, E2KS and WERS systems knowledge.
  • FMEA knowledge and Experience.
  • Able to read and conceptualize 2D and 3D Engineering Drawings (including GD&T).
  • Teamcenter, Tc VisMockup and CATIA (Basic) knowledge.

  • Excellent graphical communication skills (sketching).
  • Able to explain complex engineering concepts to other areas: Studio, Program, etc.
