Pumpkin is looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Success Agent to drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base through proactive prospecting and strategic sales initiatives. As a Customer Success Agent, you will focus on establishing new business, following up on leads through outbound calls and emails, and providing best-in-show service to prospective clients.
Prospective candidates should possess a goal-oriented mindset, concentrating on transforming opportunities into sales while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will prioritize the customer, actively listening to their needs and collaborating to achieve optimal sales outcomes. If you have a passion for animals and a desire to educate humans on the importance of uncompromising care for their pets, this role is for you.
This position will require someone located in Pacific Standard Time or Mountain Standard Time.
What You'll DoMaintain a successful conversion rate as you complete an estimated 40 calls per day with a primary focus on closing new business. This will be a mix of inbound and outbound sales calls as well as emails, prioritizing calls to warm leads.Provide a best-in-show experience and capitalize on every lead with potential customers, educating them on all aspects of Pumpkin's policy and product offerings in order to consistently complete the saleAnalyze customer motivation by gathering information and exploring concerns while handling objections with easeAct as a brand ambassador, establishing and building on positive experiences customers and potential customers have with PumpkinActively collaborate with your team to provide the best customer experienceParticipate in team meetings, elevating ideas around how to close more sales and/or improve the customer experienceTake on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives Candidates will work 9:30am-6:00pm PST, M-F (including 30 min lunch)What We're Looking For2+ years experience in an outbound sales environment with a proven track record in DTC sales, successful lead generation and new business developmentStrong understanding of the sales process (lead qualification to closing)Ability to track and analyze relevant KPIs and metrics Customer-focused approach to understanding customer needs and pain pointsSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachAbility to work in a fast-paced startup environmentAdaptable and willing to take on new challengesRoll-up-your-sleeves mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solvingActive P&C License Bonus PointsExperience in the Insurance or Animal Health industriesBenefits and Perks:
