As a Senior Azure Support Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Azure cloud technologies to support, troubleshoot, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and supporting various Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Microsoft SQL, and more. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud operations, security, and high availability.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management:
- Support and manage Azure resources like Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, NSGs (Network Security Groups), ASGs (Application Security Groups), and Microsoft SQL.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks using PowerShell and Batch scripting.
- Design and maintain scripts for provisioning and managing Azure resources efficiently.
- CI/CD Integration:
- Work with GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines for Azure environments.
- Ensure proper integration of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows for efficient software delivery.
- Networking & Security:
- Implement and manage Azure Network Security Groups (NSG) and Application Security Groups (ASG) to ensure secure network configurations.
- Provide expert support for network-related issues and ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Problem Solving & Support:
- Provide high-level technical support for cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues related to Azure services.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and security issues within the Azure environment.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide insights, technical guidance, and support on Azure-related issues.
- Clearly communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Azure Technologies:
- Experience with Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Microsoft SQL, NSGs, ASGs, and other Azure services.
- Scripting & Automation:
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Batch Scripting for automating tasks and managing Azure resources.
- CI/CD Tools:
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for automating deployments and managing source code.
- Networking & Security:
- Deep understanding of Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs) to configure and manage Azure network security.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on diagnosing and resolving complex Azure-related issues.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
