About Our Client

Our client is a U.S.-based organization that provides specialized legal services for immigration matters. They support businesses in navigating complex immigration processes, offering tailored solutions, and advocating for immigrants' rights.

This summer, they are looking for a motivated Immigration Legal Analyst and Copywriter Summer Intern with a focus on legal research and writing to assist in creating engaging content related to immigration law.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for law students looking to gain hands-on experience in legal writing, content creation, and research.

What You’ll Do
  • Write clear and compelling content: Create content focused on immigration law, including case studies, legal memos, and client FAQs, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and objectives.

  • Conduct research on immigration policies: Perform legal research on evolving immigration law to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

  • Support content creation: Help create SEO-driven articles, blog posts, and educational materials.

  • Assist in legal writing: Draft and edit legal documents, including memos or briefs under the supervision of the legal team.

  • Collaborate with legal professionals: Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and marketing professionals to create effective content and meet project goals.

Prepare reports and summaries: Assist in drafting research summaries, legal analysis, and reports for the marketing team.


Is This You?

We are looking for a 1L or 2L law student with the following:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school (preferably with a focus on immigration law or a related field).

  • Interest or experience in legal writing, such as working on law reviews, legal memos, or legal content creation.

  • Experience or coursework in immigration law, legal analysis, or case research.

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of content formats.

  • Research proficiency: Ability to conduct thorough legal research and synthesize complex legal information.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

  • Legal writing coursework or similar experience, demonstrating strong written communication skills.

  • A portfolio of legal writing, papers, or memos (such as law review articles, legal papers, or creative writing assignments) is preferred.

Bonus: Previous experience working with Law Review, legal publications, or in legal research for immigration law is a plus.
