¿What does success look like in this role?
We’re seeking a creative and entrepreneurial Business Value Associate who will partner directly with our customers to build and articulate business cases that quantify the impact Simetrik’s solutions have on their bottom line. This is a critical, customer-facing position that collaborates cross-functionally with our Revenue, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to scale value-based conversations across our entire go-to-market process. In this role, you will:
- Directly impact the bottom line of our business while gaining executive visibility both inside and outside the organization.
- Engage with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle—guiding strategic discussions that demonstrate value and enable long-term partnerships.
- Help shape the business value function within Simetrik, supporting broader efforts to expand our market footprint and drive revenue growth.
¿What is the impact and the scope of this position?
The Business Value Associate is a strategic enabler, driving value-based engagements from the first touchpoint in Sales all the way through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) in Customer Success. By designing tailored ROI analyses, success stories, and competitive insights, you will:
- Empower internal teams to incorporate compelling business value conversations at every stage of the customer journey — increasing both growth and retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor who influences executive decision-making and champions Simetrik’s value proposition in the industry.
- Build frameworks and processes that scale across regional and global markets, ensuring consistency in the way we demonstrate our unique advantages.
What results do we expect in the first 3 to 6 months?
Master the Methodology: Gain a full understanding of our existing value frameworks and methodology, then quickly apply them to real-world opportunities across both our installed base and new clients.
- Enhance the Value Framework: Bring fresh ideas and expertise to improve our tools, models, and approach—ensuring we present a clear, compelling value narrative to stakeholders.
- Map & Internalize the Value Proposition: Fully internalize Simetrik’s product offering and market positioning, enabling you to speak confidently and independently with clients and partners.
- Lead Cases Autonomously: Begin leading value-based engagements (including ROI analyses, pitch materials, and sales enablement tools) with minimal oversight—demonstrating your ability to add strategic impact and drive deals forward.
In this role you will
Main responsibilities for this role?
- Develop Business Cases & ROI Analyses: Create compelling, data-driven models and frameworks to articulate the business value of Simetrik’s solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Craft External Content & Sales Materials: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build high-impact presentations, whitepapers, and pitch decks. Provide internal training to ensure consistent messaging.
- Ensure Operational Rigor: Establish disciplined processes—meeting cadences, pipeline reviews, and revenue forecasting sessions—to keep teams accountable and efficient.
- Document Success Cases: Gather and formalize success stories across our global client base. Translate real-world impact into replicable playbooks for Sales and Customer Success.
- Lead Competitive Analysis: Build and maintain competitive intelligence resources (including “battle cards” and landscape assessments) to differentiate Simetrik in the market.
- Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with our Product, Finance, and Revenue leadership to communicate critical insights and recommendations, supporting roadmap decisions and strategic planning.
Must Have
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, or investment banking, with a track record of synthesizing data into actionable business recommendations.
- Market Understanding: Ability to quickly grasp SaaS, Payments, Banking, and FinOps market dynamics and incorporate competitive intelligence into strategic recommendations.
- Operational Excellence: Proven capability to establish processes and drive operational discipline in cross-functional teams.
- Communication & Storytelling Skills: Strong presentation and persuasive writing abilities in both Spanish and Portuguese; comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- At Least 5 Years of Relevant Experience: Demonstrated success in roles that combine strategic thinking with execution, preferably in tech, finance, banking, payments, or SaaS.
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-growth startups or scale-ups in the B2B SaaS space.
- Familiarity with ROI tools, frameworks, and methodologies used by enterprise software companies (e.g., Datadog, GitLab, etc.).
- Exposure, and experience in global markets and our target industry, particularly in fintech, banking, payments, retail, or financial operations software, and ops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree desired (Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field).
- Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese is essential.
- Demonstrated success creating high-impact deliverables (business cases, presentations, financial models) for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas and drive executive decisions through clear and succinct communication.
