Position Purpose:

The Specialist - Talent Acquisition will source candidates, paper screen resumes, pre-screen candidates, facilitate assessments, perform TA interviews, endorse for Ops interviews, endorse for offers, recruitment admin tasks, maintain recruiting trackers and complete other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Job Requirements:

  • Performs administrative tasks in support of recruiting efforts
  • Assists with screening applicant/resumes, coordinating phone/in-person interviews
  • Assists recruiting staff with job fairs and college recruiting events
  • Will create postings and run reports out of our Applicant Tracking System
  • Coordinate background checks through our Background Screening Vendor, notify appropriate personnel of each new-hires onboarding progress and schedule new employee orientation classes

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of US recruiting experience
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to plan, organize and schedule a workflow to meet rigid hiring deadlines
  • Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame
  • Ability to manage TA situations when they present themselves including high volume scheduling of applicants
  • Maintain the utmost professionalism and confidentiality
  • Must have at least 25mbps internet connection as this will be
    temporarily for a work from home position
  • Must be good to work a nightshift (Monday-Friday work
    schedule, weekends off)
  • Proficiency with various software programs, including
    Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Windows
