Job description:  The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality products that meet our organization’s needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the relevant markets and technologies, along with strong negotiation skills to secure the best terms and pricing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and a deep understanding of the lighting, solar, EV, EC motors, and electrical items sectors.

Responsibilities: 
• Research, analyze, and select suppliers for lighting, solar, EV, EC motors, and electrical items based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies with overall business goals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure optimal agreements.
• Monitor market trends, product innovations, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels in relevant databases.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.

Technical Requirements

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5years of experience in procurement, with a focus on lighting, solar, EV, EC motors, or electrical items.
• Strong understanding of product specifications, market trends, and supplier capabilities in the relevant sectors.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with procurement software and databases.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement. Hard and Soft Skills:
