Job description

Location: Fully Remote
Job Type: Full-Time

What We Need:

We’re a remote-first technical recruiting agency looking for our first HR hire to build and manage people operations for a globally distributed team and talent network. You’ll design systems to hire, onboard, pay, and retain technical contractors and employees efficientlyno office/facilities work required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. HR Systems & Compliance

Set up and manage payroll, contracts, and benefits for remote employees/contractors (experience with Deel, Wise, Gusto, or similar).

Ensure compliance with international labor laws (1099/W-2, invoicing, tax forms).

  1. Talent Operations

Own end-to-end onboarding (NDAs, skills verification, client-matching processes).

Optimize high-volume hiring pipelines (ATS workflows, reference checks, candidate experience).

  1. Performance & Retention

Track contractor/employee performance (client feedback, project longevity).

Resolve remote-specific issues (payment delays, timezone conflicts).

  1. Tools & Automation

Implement and automate HR tools (e-signatures, payroll triggers, contractor management).

Who You Are:

3+ years in HR, talent ops, or recruiting (agency, staffing, or remote tech teams).

Process builderyou thrive creating order from scratch (SOPs, playbooks).

Global hiring experience (LATAM, Europe, Asia).

Data-drivenyou measure retention, margins, and time-to-hire.

Tech-savvyyou automate repetitive tasks (AI, integrations).

Nice-to-Haves:

Familiarity with technical roles (engineers, DevOps).
