Reports to: Human Resources Director in Japan

Position Overview:

We are looking for a HR Manager for our Japan organization. This person will play a critical role in shaping and executing our People strategy. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in human resources, particularly within the technology or cybersecurity sectors. This is an Individual contributor role with extensive international senior stakeholder management required. 

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, with a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders in Japan to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business priorities, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Employee Relations and Compliance: Provide expert guidance on Japanese labor law compliance, manage employee relations, and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the global HR team on salary planning, job architecture, and job leveling. 
  • Talent Development: Drive core learning and development programs, including onboarding, leadership training, and career development coaching.
  • Engagement and Culture: Partner with the HR Leader and Japan Sales Leader to drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement & inclusion, and foster a culture that reflects Cybereason's values.
  • HR Strategy and Implementation: Execute comprehensive HR programs tailored to Japan, such as performance management, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven HR leadership experience, ideally as a business partner or manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR practices.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes, including leadership development and organizational design.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Adaptability and a collaborative mindset to thrive in dynamic environments.
