Job description

TruBridge is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our Patient Care EHR Team. We are seeking an individual who possesses knowledge of data and analytics ecosystem, along with technologies required to support it.

The Product Owner- Data Analytics guides and manages the lifecycle of analytics product(s) and its feature enhancements. This role develops product concepts and designs to facilitate market needs and user requirements. Conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors. Develops requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts. Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products and introducing products to the market.

Essential Functions: specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Set the strategic direction for Analytics products. Work with stakeholders to understand the business needs and shape the vision and roadmap for data-driven initiatives.
  • Prioritize and manage the development of data analytics products by working with data teams, and engineers to ensure that products get built efficiently, meet user needs, and provide actionable insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions. By translating business needs into clear product requirements, they ensure the data product is strategically aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Drive adoption of data products. You will tell the data analytics story and spread the word about data products, convince stakeholders of the benefits, provide training and support, and advocate using data to make smarter decisions. Working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to gather insights and inform product decisions.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and improvements based on data insights.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels by engaging with executives, business users, and IT teams to gather feedback, address concerns, and inform stakeholders about project progress.
  • Ability to work within an agile framework, collaborating with development teams to deliver value incrementally. They participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming, prioritizing data-related tasks based on business value.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
