Job Description

Are you looking for a role that makes a meaningful impact and drives organizational transformation, positively affecting our global workforce? As a Senior HR Business Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing Allstate’s business capabilities to achieve our strategic goals.

As a key leader, you will work closely with HR stakeholders to define, measure, and prioritize our product roadmap. You will also act as a bridge between HR business owners and agile digital product teams, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value efficiently and at scale.

We seek individuals who are compelling storytellers, collaborative problem-solvers, and execution-driven professionals. This role as a Senior Business Architect will align with one or more of the following HR functional domains:

• Employee Onboarding/Offboarding
• Special Projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the key enabler between HR business owners and digital product teams to realize product outcomes aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Develop and maintain the HR business architecture framework in alignment with the enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Translate HR strategic goals into business capabilities and prioritized product outcomes for execution.
  • Define and measure business value for intended product outcomes.
  • Ensure product outcomes align with broader customer and employee journeys.
  • Collaborate closely with digital product teams, actively engaging in all agile ceremonies.
  • Work across HR digital product teams to ensure cohesive and streamlined product delivery.
  • Contribute to overall HR strategy and planning within assigned functional domains.
  • Partner with strategic vendors to review and influence product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Allstate’s current and future needs.
  • Conduct business analysis, including root cause identification and resolution of employee challenges.
     
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This job does not have supervisory duties.
     
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
     
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

  • Collaboration: Proactively engages digital product teams and stakeholders to bridge gaps, connect the dots across initiatives, and ensure alignment on priorities. Drives shared outcomes by fostering cross-functional understanding and strategic integration.
  • Decision-Making: Makes informed, timely decisions and embraces de-prioritization when necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to interpret business data, draw meaningful conclusions, and understand overall business needs.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills, preferably within HR systems and employee engagement/connectivity systems.
  • Business/HR Functional Domain Analysis: Quickly assesses the impact of new technology, applications, and design criteria on HR functions.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity and expertise of Workday/HRIS and Microsoft systems (preferred).
  • Business Process Modeling: Experience with business process modeling techniques.
  • Change Agility: Thrives in ambiguous environments and adapts to change seamlessly.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Forward-thinking approach to HR transformation and digital strategy.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 187,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
