On behalf of our client Asahi Europe & International, GT is looking for a Senior Analytics Product Owner.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Product Owner to lead data and analytics initiatives within a dedicated functional area.

You will define the product vision and roadmap, manage the backlog, and prioritize features based on business value.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Takes accountability for product development and projects in a dedicated functional area.

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and analytics products.

• Work with Business Owner to gather and prioritise product requirements from stakeholders and users, and to define and prioritise product features and their business value.

• Compile overall business case and drive stakeholders sign-off.

• Responsible for regular planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions.

• Monitor and analyse product performance, using data to drive decision-making and improvements.

• Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, and adjust the product roadmap as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data product management, analytics and data science, and agile methodologies.

• Partner in business processes and #digital solutions, highlighting opportunities to improve business performance.

• Proactively propose value recommendations to business; facilitate value creation with the innovation team.

• Develop business cases and take accountability for project-dedicated budgets.

• Design solutions within architecture guidelines, build/buy, and continuously evolve the regional solution set.

• Ensure proper project governance is in place and design authority validation.

• Monitor compliance of analytic product delivery (through third-party vendors) with set standards and LLD.

• Coordinate local and regional rollouts.

• Conduct active change management to achieve value realization agreed in the business case.

• Champion regional design and ensure proper integration and retirement of local solutions.

• Drive project transition to application support; ensure application support team involvement during the project lifecycle.

• Drive post-implementation review and report value realization.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Technology, STEM sciences, or a business-related field.

• 10+ years of professional experience in analytics product development, data management, and related methodologies, with exposure to CPG/Alcobev best practices.

• In-depth knowledge of business processes in the analytics domain, requirements gathering, solution design, and lifecycle management of analytics solutions.

Proficiency in English, SAP, Microsoft, and MS Office.

• Proven experience in creating business cases and tightly managing budgets.

Must-have:

• Strong understanding and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI.

• Working knowledge of Databricks, Data Lake, and related technologies (deep technical expertise is not required).

• Experience with Azure DevOps to maintain boards and project plans, integrating business value with technical delivery.

• Familiarity with Azure analytics platforms and technologies.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in Design Thinking.

• Experience with Azure Fabric and Dataiku.

• International experience (accountability for delivering in/to different countries).

• Experience with Kanban agile methodology and flow approach.

• Proven experience in implementing product management practices in a data-driven environment, including integration with CI/CD practices.

• Experience in business processes, ERP and other systems deployment, analytics, service leadership, business relationship and project management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to articulate technical solutions in business language, foster adoption, raise project risks and issues, and provide coaching/training to internal or partner resources

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, essential for driving data-driven initiatives.

• Strategic thinking and excellent business problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
