The Solutions Consulting Organization is an integral component of the Sales Organization. Solutions Consultants have a direct impact on revenue generation and serve as the technical expert for the Sales Organization by consulting with prospective customers to tackle their most complex business challenges. We partner closely with Account Executives to bring net new customers onto Juniper Square’s software and services. Solution Consultants also serve as the bridge to the Product team, influencing go-to-market strategy and shaping our product roadmap by communicating what our prospects and customers need to be successful. In this role, you will report to the Director who brings 15 years of technical selling and solutions consulting experience in finance and SaaS.
Present tailored demonstrations of Juniper Square’s technology solutions to technical audiences, virtually and in-person with a focus on communicating business value
Develop mastery of our software’s features in order to position Juniper Square as the optimal solution to prospects by answering technical questions and handling objections, often in an impromptu manner
Conduct discovery calls to understand a prospect’s systems and technology stack, data flows, and workflows.
Synthesize customer needs in order to influence product roadmap, especially with regard to breaking into new asset classes
Create detailed and realistic proof of concepts which mirror our prospects’ fund structures and investment performance behaviors to help prospects envision how their operations and investor outcomes are improved with Juniper Square
Respond to RFPs positioning Juniper Square as the optimal solution to solve their problems
Maintain knowledge of the software’s product roadmap in order to win active deals which require functionality not yet live today as well as help customers understand the vision for where Juniper Square is going
Serve as the voice of Sales to provide commercial perspective in new product and service go-to-market initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7-10+ years of experience in private markets investments, private markets technology or consulting, software solutions consulting, or prospect or customer-facing experience in finance or financial technology. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 12+ years of professional experience is equivalent.
Deeply curious to uncover prospect problems and a strong desire to solve these problems through creative problem solving.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $145,000 and the Canadian base salary range for this role is 207,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
