Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with operators in the Caribbean Area.
  • Assist Finance team on reconciliation of balances/invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season.
  • Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in the greater Caribbean Area.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to promote the local market, and promote reseller / affiliate programs.
  • Find new local operators in the Caribbean Area, find new deals, and maximize profit for the company from current operators.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development/ sales.
  • Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.).
  • Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data.
  • Our tech stack: ClickUp, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, Google Docs.
  • Ability to achieve goals and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal. Proficiency in French or/and Portuguese is a plus. 
  • Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the greater Caribbean Area would be a plus.
  • Ability to travel within the region.
  • Previous remote work and travel industry related experience in the Caribbean Area and Latinoamerican region would be a plus.
