Job description

About the role

We are looking for a curious and driven Prompt Engineer to help build intelligent, domain-specific AI agents tailored for CFOs and finance leaders. In this role, you will design, test, and iterate on high-quality prompts and workflows that power vertical agents in the finance space. You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and finance subject matter experts to ensure the agents are accurate, useful, and aligned with the needs of senior financial decision-makers.

This is a unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of applied AI and shape how CFOs interact with intelligent tools. You’ll learn from a team of AI researchers, product builders, and finance experts, and play a critical role in turning raw models into polished, business-ready solutions.

Minimum qualifications

  • Strong interest in generative AI, large language models, and prompt engineering.
  • Understanding of business workflows, ideally related to finance or enterprise SaaS.
  • Basic experience using or experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar LLM interfaces.
  • Ability to write clear, structured, and context-aware prompts.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail in testing and refining AI outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to finance, accounting, or data analysis concepts (e.g. FP&A, reporting, budgeting).
  • Experience using no-code/low-code tools, automation platforms, or API-based workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks or prompt chaining approaches.
  • Startup or early-stage company experience.

Responsibilities
Prompt Engineering & Testing:

  • Design and refine prompts to drive accurate, helpful, and domain-specific outputs.
  • Work closely with finance experts to understand user needs and design agents accordingly.
  • Run structured evaluations to assess agent performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Iterate rapidly on prompt logic and workflows based on feedback and data.

Vertical Agent Development:

  • Help build and improve AI agents specialized in CFO workflows such as financial planning, reporting, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain libraries of reusable prompts and components for common finance use cases.
  • Contribute to documentation and playbooks that explain agent behavior and limitations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and finance SMEs to align on user needs and product goals.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure quality and usability.
  • Participate in user testing and feedback loops to continuously enhance agent performance.

Learning and Growth:

  • Stay up to date with developments in prompt engineering and AI tooling.
  • Bring new techniques and insights into the team’s workflow and documentation.
  • Take on increasingly complex prompting tasks as your understanding deepens.

Benefits

  • Well-funded and proven startup with large ambitions and competitive salaries.
  • Uncapped commissions.
  • Entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits, creating and collaborating is everyday business.
  • Open communication with management and company leadership.
  • Small, dynamic teams = massive impact.
  • 100% Remote Work (You choose where to work from).
  • 500USD a year for you to invest in learning.
