The Role

The Security/IT Analyst will be hands-on, a technical member of the Lark Security and Compliance team with a variety of responsibilities: leveraging security tooling to assist the engineering team in safeguarding company services, data, and assets; managing/securing Lark assets, administering, reviewing and monitoring accounts, training, and access to systems; vetting/managing vendors and tools; and overall support of the IT, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize cutting-edge security tools to identify potential vulnerabilities within Lark's ecosystem and assist engineering teams in patching
  • Develop and enhance in-house security capability including scripts for scanning endpoints and code
  • Create, enhance, and organize security documentation, policies/procedures, team Confluence pages, roadmap, and more
  • Manage, review, and administer Lark physical assets, system and user access and configurations
  • Ensure vendor security and compliance through vetting and periodic assessments/audits of external vendors
  • Conduct, administer, review, and monitor the training of Lark personnel to ensure completion
  • Coordinate, organize, and support IT, Security, and Compliance assessments and cross-functional security initiatives
  • Support teams in internal security efforts including vulnerability/patch management, logging/log review, monitoring/alerting, and configuration management
  • Support the Compliance team with collecting evidence for SOC2 and HiTRUST audits

What You’ll Need

  • System/access administration
  • Laptop and mobile device management and endpoint protection tools
  • Vulnerability/patch management, log monitoring, and alerting
  • Incident handling and response
  • Implementing security best practices
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Expertise in Jira, Confluence, AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Services like Workspaces, Active Directory, IAM, SSO, VPC, EC2, Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, S3, AWS Inspector
  • Experience with Google Suite, Windows, MacOS, and Linux
  • Knowledge of one or more SAST, DAST, or IAST tools
  • Nice to have: Wiz, Kandji, 1Password, CrowdStrike
  • 1-3 Years of experience in IT or security, or equivalent education or certifications
  • A desire to grow and learn!
