Application Architect

Job Description:

Rice F.W. Technologies / State of LA is seeking an Application Architect to assist with the SYSCOM ASM product migration. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in installing, configuring, and executing the SYSCOM (ASM) product and resolving complex issues related to ASM migration.

Specialty Areas:

• Application Architecture & Development – Expertise in designing, coding, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise applications.
  

• Product Implementation & Migration – Experience in installing, configuring, and executing SYSCOM (ASM) in an enterprise environment.
  

• Issue Resolution & Optimization – Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to ASM migration and system integration.
  

• Stakeholder Communication & Risk Management – Collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth migration process.
  

• Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of enterprise application frameworks, middleware integration, and performance optimization techniques.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing, configuring, and executing the SYSCOM (ASM) product.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced coding and migration issues.
  

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth migration process.
  

• Implement best practices for enterprise application architecture.
  

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  

• Ensure system performance, security, and scalability during and after migration.
  
  

Skill Matrix:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SYSCOM ASM.
  

• Proven experience in enterprise application architecture and migration projects.
  

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to application migration.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• Experience working on government projects.
  

• Strong understanding of application security, performance tuning, and system integration.
