This entry-level position will be integral in assisting with our digital business initiatives, including data entry and data extract. Manage product information management system for product-related attributes which will be synchronized within and outside customers, consumers, and other information technology-related systems

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration (60%)

  • Enters audits and maintains data within the database; verifies all data entered into the database meets set standards and requirements
  • Database administration which includes, but not limited to, system users access privileges, classification and attribute structure, product families and publications
  • Coordinates data input from product management groups and structure user-supplied data for import into the database.  Implements removal of parts per obsolescent reports.
  • Collects and exports data for translation; coordinates translation process with subsidiaries; collects translated files and import into appropriate language layers.
  • Tests system and software updates/upgrades prior to committing to the active catalog.
  • Monitors processes and user workflow and tries to identify problems suggests potential improvements.
  • Assists product management groups with data entry, as required.

Reporting (40%)

  • Designs prepare and distribute regular reports on the status of database related fields.
  • Generates custom reports, as required.
  • Presents written and verbal reports as required per management request.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in database management or information technology or related field
  • Years of Experience:  2-4 years

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES:

  • Required certifications and/or licenses: Level Excel 2, Language - Intermediate English proficiency
  • Preferred certifications and/or licenses: Agile methodology basic knowledge
