We are seeking a Senior Director of Sales to lead our acquisition sales organization, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. This role is ideal for a proven SaaS sales leader with deep experience in fleet management, AI-driven telematics, or transportation technology. This leader will be responsible for leading the sales team, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Lytx’s footprint in trucking, logistics, and commercial fleet industries.  Experience in selling into accounts over $1B annually is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Establish and track key sales performance metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Drive customer acquisition and expand relationships with key enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to enhance market penetration.
  • Lead contract negotiations and high-value deal closures with enterprise customers.

Team Development & Performance Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Implement training programs and best practices to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide product and marketing teams with feedback to ensure the company’s solutions remain competitive and aligned with market demand.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the B2B software industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in scaling and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to build and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills that effectively engage C-Level Executives
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Experience selling into Acquisition Account great than $1B
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, including direct sales, channel sales, and partnerships.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$184,000.00 - $232,000.00
