DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and work directly with our USA-based client. In this role, you will be responsible for automating, managing, and optimizing infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams to implement robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and manage cloud environments on Azure Services and AWS.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage container orchestration.
• Manage and troubleshoot deployment environments across multiple operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Continuously improve processes and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline workflows and optimize systems for maximum efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Maven: Experience with dependency management and build automation.
• Docker: Strong experience building and deploying containerized applications.
• Jenkins Pipelines: Proficient in automating build and deployment pipelines.
• GitHub Actions: Experience with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
• Azure Services: Hands-on experience with managing resources in Azure cloud environments.
• AWS: Familiarity with AWS services and architecture.
• Terraform: Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

Optional Skills:

• Chocolatey: Experience with package management for Windows.
• Linux: Solid knowledge of Linux systems and administration.
• Windows: Familiarity with Windows environments and administration.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar positions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Familiarity with cloud and automation best practices.
