The Global Pricing Operations department is looking for a Sr. Global Pricing Operations Analyst/ Project Manager to support the Pricing system infrastructure, and to drive the development of ongoing business process and system improvements. The role will report to the Sr. Global Pricing Operations Manager in The Global Pricing Operations organization.
About the role - you will:
- Critically understand the Global Pricing team’s operations, systems and business objectives.
- Translate inputs from the users of Pricing systems to create Business and Functional requirement documentation -- including process and system diagrams.
- Development of use cases for Pricing business issues and translate them into IT test cases, and perform SIT, and UAT.
- Interact extensively with Pricing team, Seagate internal IT, outside vendors, and others to develop and/or enhance the user experience and the productivity of the Global Pricing team.
- Determine potential solutions and provide testing for both technical and business compatibility.
- Provide ongoing training and documentation on Pricing systems for user base.
- Provide and present ongoing status updates in the form of project roadmaps.
- Create and direct Change Management efforts for user adoption of enterprise solutions.
- Ensure solution designs meet business user needs and objectives.
- Troubleshoot Application, and tool issues as SME.
- Drive cross-functional and cross-regional teams to meet agreed upon timelines for IT projects and programs.
About you:
Candidate must possess a passion for customer success, strong analytical aptitude, and solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and adaptability is crucial to this role. Candidate must also be flexible with change, enjoy a metrics-driven environment, and comfortable with goal setting that includes personal turn-around-time and accuracy metrics. Finally, candidate must be able to act as a liaison between the Pricing function and the IT support teams.

Your experience includes:
- Experience in a corporate setting working with enterprise-level application, and system development, and / or developing business process improvements, and performing SIT, and UAT.
- Excellent PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- SQL, and other coding skills a plus.
- Prior experience with Pricing enterprise-level Pricing applications highly desired (Model N modules).
- Bachelors degree in IT, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $92,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
