Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):

The Manager, Supply Chain - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will drive the financial planning and budgeting process across supply chain business segments and sub-businesses, analyze financial statements and reports and assist with the monthly closing process.  

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of FP&A. It is critical for the person holding this position to have FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to present financial information in a concise and easily comprehensible manner to various audiences. 


Main Activities:

  • This role partners closely with Directors of Distribution, Logistics and VP of Distribution, playing a critical role in financial planning, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
  • Drive Financial Planning & Analysis – Lead all financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to optimize our supply chain distribution and logistics network
  • Enhance Financial Reporting – Streamline and automate reporting to provide clear visibility into key performance drivers and prepare materials used for Board of Directors presentations and other external reporting 
  • Leverage Data & Analytics – Utilize big data tools to provide actionable insights on transportation costs and warehousing efficiencies
  • Monitor & Improve Financial KPIs – Establish and track KPIs for logistics, warehousing, and overall supply chain performance
  • Partner on Cost Productivity Initiatives – Work cross-functionally to design, evaluate, and execute initiatives that improve profitability
  • Develop Cost & Network Models – Build financial models to assess existing and future network designs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational excellence
  • Influence Strategic Decision-Making – Translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations for senior leadership
  • Drive monthly closing process – Analyze monthly financial statements, reports and operating expenses and collaborate with supply chain functional teams to identify required accruals and root cause of variances
  • Headcount reporting – Track and distribute headcount reporting 
  • Capital spending and projects reporting – Validate ROI analyses and track spending and accounting treatment
  • Ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Finance, MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience at a mid-size distribution / manufacturing organization
  • Must have strong Microsoft office with advanced excel knowledge. ERP and financial systems knowledge, SAP and Hyperion a plus
  • Must have a strong understanding of Supply Chain and Distribution operations from a business as well as finance perspective
  • Prior FP&A experience is a requirement. The candidate must have strong financial analysis skills including being detail oriented and proficient in building and using complicated data sources
  • Must have a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative work ethic

Pursuant to New York law, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is from $125,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
