SCS Engineers is looking for a technician that can support our Ammonia Risk Management team. As a technician, you will work with us in the field at ammonia refrigeration facilities to collect data needed for piping diagrams, relief valve studies, inventory calculations, etc. You will work 40 hours per week typically. You will be a remote employee and will be required to work out of your house as well as out in the field 5 days/week.
How You Can Make An Impact
You will contribute to our projects by assisting SCS project teams with the following tasks:
- Assist Risk Group team at ammonia refrigeration facilities gather data for various technical studies such as inventory calculations, lockout tagout procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Reporting and calculation preparation
- Work processing
- Pipe labeling / valve tag projects
- Valve exercising programs for clients
Qualifications
- RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certificate preferred
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
- Ability to travel overnight for work outside of the SCS office required; estimated 25% travel throughout the Northeast region.
Pay Range
USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
