Core Duties
Patra is looking for an FP&A Analyst to support the development of the FP&A function. The individual in this role will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and work closely with business unit leaders and executive team members and deliver timely and accurate financial performance insights for a fast-growing B2B technology-enabled insurance services company with global scale.
Identify and develop efficient processes in collaboration with other functional areas for the accurate reporting of key data and insights.
Create and maintain financial packages that communicate monthly and quarterly performance to the business's key stakeholders.
Conduct variance analyses to uncover insights into Patra's financial performance and work with business leaders to identify root causes for performance and identify ways to further improve operational and financial performance.
Develop analyses, reporting, and financial projections for Patra's client revenue.
Assist the Company's strategic decision-making through the thoughtful use and analysis of available financial and operational data.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3-10 years' experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or other corporate finance roles.
Expertise in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements, and projections.
The ability to communicate company performance effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working with financial planning software.
A strong knowledge of accounting concepts and budgeting principles, with experience in KPIs/metrics that drive business performance and understanding the factors that influence them.
Highly organized, with a strong ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and multitask in an ever-changing environment.
Deeply analytical with outstanding communication and presentation skills and a growth mindset.
The ability to work US East Time Zone hours is essential for this role.
