The Senior Implementation Lead in Radiology is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment of radiology solutions and systems within healthcare organizations. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and driving the adoption of radiology technologies to improve clinical workflows and patient care. This role demands project management skills, radiology experience, comprehensive product knowledge across the full Royal platform, and technical expertise in application management and customer training.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Royal’s suite of radiology offerings.
  • Develop detailed project plans, and timelines. Monitor progress, identify issues, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review project status, gather requirements, and facilitate system design and testing workshops.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, system configurations, and user feedback.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between key stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with project key contacts, such as clinical and operations teams, IT teams, and third-party vendors, to gather requirements and design future-state workflows that align with the clients organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical resources to ensure successful integration with existing systems, including ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Collaborate with configuration resources on design requirements and perform hands-on configuration of radiology software applications.
  • Conduct system validations to ensure configurations are functional and meet client requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing Radiology workflows and software systems, identifying areas for optimization and integration of new features.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training for end-users and administrators to ensure effective utilization of new systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to radiology systems and workflows.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of radiology advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiology workflows, system integration, and healthcare IT standards.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Occasional travel (15-25%) to healthcare facilities may be required.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as needed to meet project deadlines.

Extra awesome:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with: IBM Merge/Merative, MedInformatix, GE, Epic, Change, NextGen, Imagine, CareStream or other software/service vendors in healthcare radiology.
