This is a remote position.

Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within Spain. This remote position requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the localization industry and the ability to excel in an autonomous work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects in Spain to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the localization industry.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics specific to the Spanish market.
  • Create and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the localization sector.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive market penetration.
  • Prepare compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Monitor and analyze business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights to drive informed decisions.
  • Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the localization market in Spain.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and virtual meetings to enhance our brand visibility and forge valuable connections.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the localization or translation industry, preferably in Spain.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving business growth targets and driving sales initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Availability to travel within Spain occasionally as needed.
