Job description

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to develop, customize, and enhance SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ABAP programming, SAP module integration, and performance optimization. This role involves working closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements in SAP systems.
Design and implement custom workflows, interfaces, and forms (SmartForms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms).
Collaborate with SAP functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Optimize SAP programs for performance tuning, debugging, and error handling.
Work with SAP modules like FICO, MM, SD, PP, and ensure seamless system integration.
Develop and maintain SAP Data Dictionary objects such as tables, views, and structures.
Implement User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots as per business needs.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support end-users in troubleshooting.
Provide technical documentation and training for ABAP developments.
Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA and modern SAP technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), ALV Reports, and Dialog Programming.
Strong knowledge of SAP IDocs, BDC, RFCs, and Web Services (OData, SOAP, REST).
Experience with Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and HANA-based programming is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
SAP ABAP certification is an advantage.
