Director of Technical Product Marketing

As the Director of Technical Product Marketing at Anomalo, you will be responsible for shaping our content strategy, developing compelling technical narratives, and positioning Anomalo as the leader in data quality monitoring. This role is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on leader who can create impactful content for data teams (including data governance leaders, data engineers, AI/ML teams, and data analysts), while also playing a key role in supporting our demand generation efforts.

This role will report to Anomalo’s VP of Marketing & Business Development and work closely with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, and Customer Success. You will manage our Senior Product Marketing Manager and be a peer to the Director of Demand Generation, ensuring content supports brand awareness and pipeline growth. This includes developing the content and messaging for our ABX strategy.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy storytelling through content, and have a passion for the modern data stack, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do as the Director of Technical Product Marketing at Anomalo
  • Develop and Execute Content Strategy
    • Own and scale a technical content strategy, producing blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and product guides.
    • Craft compelling, customer-centric messaging that aligns with industry trends and real-world challenges in data quality.
    • Optimize and scale content across multiple formats to drive engagement, education, and lead conversion.
  • Product Positioning & Go-to-Market Execution
    • Define clear, differentiated messaging that communicates Anomalo’s value to data teams, AI/ML practitioners, and enterprise buyers.
    • Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches, ensuring strong adoption and awareness.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Technical Storytelling & Thought Leadership
    • Establish Anomalo as a category leader by developing thought leadership content, including industry reports, educational content, and conference presentations.
    • Partner with Sales & Demand Gen to create sales enablement materials that drive pipeline and revenue impact.
    • Build customer success stories to highlight real-world outcomes and product value.
  • Leadership, Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Manage and mentor team members, helping them scale contentproduct marketing operations.
    • Act as a player-coach, balancing hands-on content creation with mentoring junior team members.
    • Work closely with Product & Engineering to translate complex technical concepts into digestible, actionable insights.
    • Track and analyze content performance metrics, iterating on content strategy based on data-driven insight
What You’ll Bring to the Team (Must Have)
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in data, AI/ML, or analytics-focused B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to develop and scale a content strategy while maintaining high technical accuracy.

  • Deep understanding of the modern data stack, including tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Alation, Atlan, and Google Bigquery.
  • Experience driving go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning, and messaging development.
  • Strong ability to balance strategy with execution, being both a leader and an individual contributor.
