As a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, we help companies manage their implementation processes, drive greater efficiencies, and create unmatched client relationships.

About the role:

We’re seeking a strategic, forward-thinking People Operations leader to join our leadership team. This individual will balance core HR responsibilities—including compensation, benefits, and performance management—with a visionary approach to organizational design, talent development and training, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is someone who can scale our culture while ensuring our people and organization are focused and equipped to drive growth goals.

What the Director of People Operations will do:

HR Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop HR strategies supporting growth goals while advising leadership on organization and workforce planning
  • Assess future talent needs and implement targeted training, promotion, and recruitment initiatives
  • Lead change management efforts for company transitions, scaling, and cultural evolution
  • Provide strategic HR input on market expansion, M&A, and organizational design decisions
Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand:
  • Lead talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top Salesforce ecosystem talent
  • Align hiring initiatives with business objectives based on revenue projections and delivery demands
  • Guide hiring managers on job descriptions and interview processes while championing Kicksaw's employer brand
  • Design scalable recruiting frameworks and manage external staffing partnerships to supplement delivery capacity
Employee Experience & Culture:
  • Evolve our culture as we scale, preserving core values while integrating new teams through M&A
  • Implement initiatives fostering community and belonging in our remote-first environment
  • Assess employee engagement through surveys and feedback loops to understand organizational pulse
  • Preserve and elevate recognition programs celebrating employee contributions and achievements
Performance Management & Development:
  • Refine performance reviews with clear feedback, growth pathways, and accountability
  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and team development
  • Optimize learning programs, including leadership training, mentorship, and career progression
  • Implement continuous feedback systems for real-time coaching and support
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Oversee a competitive compensation structure, ensuring pay equity through periodic benchmarking
  • Enhance employee benefits programs to support well-being and retention
  • Refine bonus and profit-sharing plans to align with company goals and drive performance
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage HR budgets, including salary, incentives, and rewards
HR Operations & Compliance:
  • Continuously improve HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with US and Canada employment laws
  • Leverage HR tech to streamline operations, reporting, and employee self-service
  • Manage employee relations with discretion, fairness, and integrity
  • Build a data-driven HR function providing insights on capacity, satisfaction, recruitment, compensation, and performance

The right candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic leadership positions
  • Experience in high-growth professional services or SaaS environments preferred
  • Proven ability to align HR initiatives with business goals, driving growth and profitability
  • Knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) statements, budgeting, and financial metrics
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders on org design, culture, and talent strategy
  • Experience developing and leading People Operations teams
  • Hands-on experience in culture, talent assessment, and integration during M&As
  • Skilled in relationship-building, coaching, conflict resolution, and change management
  • Proficient in using HR metrics for decision-making and reporting to leadership
  • Experience with HRIS platform implementation/management
