The Vice President of SAP Delivery is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of SAP solutions across multiple projects and clients. This executive role involves overseeing a team of SAP professionals, ensuring the successful execution of SAP projects, managing client relationships, and driving business growth through effective service delivery. Reporting to the SVP PGO, the VP of SAP Delivery collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all SAP implementations are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership:
o Contribute to the strategic vision for the SAP delivery function and aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
o Lead the SAP delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
o Ensure successful delivery of projects while protecting the company’s brand
o Monitor business outcome alignment and project benefits with client
o Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities for SAP services and solutions.
· Project and Program Management:
o Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and organizational goals.
o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
o Implement and maintain best practices in project management, risk management, and quality assurance.
· Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor on SAP solutions and services.
o Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
o Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to develop strategies for client retention and growth.
· Team Management and Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP professionals, including project managers, consultants, and technical staff.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
o Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure the optimal delivery of SAP projects.
· Financial Management:
o Manage the SAP delivery budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control.
o Monitor project financial performance, ensuring profitability and return on investment.
o Provide regular financial reports to the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
· Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
o Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.
o Identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP delivery, including technical, operational, and client-related risks.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
o Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices.
o Drive innovation in SAP service delivery, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and learning from project experiences.
Qualifications:
· Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
· Experience:
o Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP implementation and delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
o Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SAP projects across multiple industries.
o Extensive experience in client relationship management, project management, and team leadership.
· Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP ECC, and related modules.
o Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
o Proficiency in financial management and budgeting within the context of SAP delivery.
· Leadership and Communication:
o Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
o Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
