A Modeler generally covers the modeling of different trades (Architecture, Structure or MEP), depending on your background and expertise, whose extent will depend on the scope of the project (specific zones or entire buildings), and whose quality will go according to clients’ requirements and the services provided by the team you end up joining. This position requires good level of modeling quality (expertise, technical knowledge, LOD and QAQC capabilities), and more autonomy in its self-management and modeling capabilities (studying whatever's necessary according to each trade). A Modeler saves the client problems, detecting possible conflicts throughout the initial information review and the modeling and coordination phases.
Mandatory Requirements:
- An Upper Intermediate level of English is an absolute must.
- Engineering degree (Electrical preferred over Civil).
- +2 years of background or experience within the electrical field (telecommunications, data centers, structured or other types of cabling, etc.
- Experience in BIM MEP projects.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in US-based projects.
