Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to help drive the strategic direction of our platform's technical foundation, enabling diverse business growth initiatives. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of platform-wide services for customer lifecycle management and user account integration initiatives. This is a high-impact role focused on creating a seamless, unified customer experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Product Strategy:
    • Define and own the product roadmap, aligning with the company and organization’s vision and mission.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in customer lifecycle improvements.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility of product features and solutions.
    • Provide guidance on technical architecture and design decisions to align with long-term product goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as the primary liaison between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
    • Drive agile processes within product development teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Partner with key stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable product goals.
    • Foster strong relationships with customers to gather insights and validate product directions.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Product Management (Strong software development experience preferred).
  • Experience with aggregating user information across multiple systems.
  • Strong technical background, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand SaaS platform concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data analytics platforms such as Pendo, Heap and Looker; Atlassian suite, Mural and others.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • Technical background, with experience in SCRUM/Agile methodologies.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
  • Experience with customer lifecycle management, identity management, or platform integrations.
  • Expertise in authentication technologies, identity federation, and access management (OAuth, SAML, SSO, etc.).
  • Familiarity with customer engagement tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred but not required.

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position.  Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$114,500.00 - $201,400.00
