About the role:

As a Senior Sales Solution Consultant – Sales Engineering Group, you’ll utilize your in-depth product knowledge to help sales staff uncover requirements, recommend and demonstrate the Payment Hub solution (FIS Payment Hub & FIS Payment Hub Standard Edition), FIS Managed Bank Connectivity and SWIFT Services. Your unique expertise will help us advance the way the world pays, banks and invests, while you advance your own career with a growing, global organization.

What you will be doing:

This is an advanced professional role with broad understanding of area of specialization in order to show off FIS Payment Hub (formally Trax) and all its strengths to prospective clients. You will need to be able to resolve complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge and skills around the product as well as Payment Processing systems and related payment messaging. You will need to exercise judgment in decision making, determines approach, methods and procedures to use on new assignments. You will need to utilize advanced knowledge of all products within a specific business unit and their relationship to other business unit solutions to assist sales team in addressing unique client/prospect requirements. May coordinate and guide the work of others. Typically requires a minimum of five years business experience with specific solutions, products and marketplace.

  • Develops appropriate product solutions to meet client/prospect business requirements. This will mainly be done as Proof Of Concept solutions whereby the FIS Payment Hub (Enterprise and Standard Editions) and Managed Bank Connectivity (SWIFT) solutions are configured for the appropriate client/prospect use case(s)
  • Drives solution assurance process on behalf of sales executives to obtain client/prospect requirements, identifies and prioritizes functionality gaps with sales representatives and clients/prospects, initiates request-source process to obtain estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workarounds and gathers all necessary information for internal suppliers to commit to performing the conversion.
  •  Work on RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information) against tight deadlines
  • Sets up and delivers product presentations/demonstrations to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based tools.
  • Creates and maintains product presentations and demo environments.
  • Participates in business requirements review with clients/prospects.
  • Participates in product release process and liaise with development to be able to implement new functionality into the demo environment. Also train the presales team on new functionality
  • Train the sales solution consultants on new functionality and how best to demonstrate this to clients/prospects
  • Provides feedback on client/prospect requirements to FIS product managers on regularly scheduled basis.
  • Interacts with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to implement integration to third-party vendor opportunities and solutions within the demo platform.
  • Liaise with platform architects and technical teams to improve the demo environment

What you will need:

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of FIS Payment Hub for all modules of the application and must have implemented the solution.
  • Must have at least 5 years of professional services experience implementing FIS Payment Hub
  • Understand the FIS Payment Hub database and table structure and be able to query it using Ms SQL. Have the ability to write stored procedures and database triggers
  • Must be able to independently configure FIS Payment Hub to be able to deliver client/prospect reports for PoC activities
  • Works well in an independent, as well as team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and provide appropriate communications to senior management
  • Have worked with FIS Payment Hub (Version 7) and later
  • Be based anywhere in the United States of America

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $114,880.00 - $189,560.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
