Key Responsibilities
Assure all warehouse equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Carry out assignments accurately and in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
Ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility.
Ability to communicate with Supervisors in order to increase accuracy
Additional Responsibilities
Provides training, direction and guidance to Warehouse staff
Professional Experience and Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred.
Specific skills and knowledge
Minimum of 4-5 years in warehouse or distribution environment.
Ability to prioritize assignments and complete on time.
Writing and verbal skills must be able to read, write and speak local language fluently.
Able to provide direction to workforce and to communicate warehouse rules and procedures.
Able to work any shift as required by the changing workloads or the specific needs of the company.
Able to lift up to 50 lb.
Able to operate a fork truck/pallet jack (electric or manual).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic computer and math skills.
Experience with RF and bar-coding and various warehouse management systems.
Work experience with SAP WMS is a must.
