Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a remote Transfer Agent Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for the validation of requests for outgoing correspondence, account maintenance, and financial updates received from shareholders through multiple mediums.

This is a temporary contract position expected to last at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The work hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET, and we’re looking for candidates located in the Eastern and Central time zones. This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily audits of the transfer agent voting process, and ensure votes are updated accurately on multiple systems

  • Update and maintain client accounts with contact information, check information, etc.

  • Check system updates against client documents to ensure accuracy

  • Assist in implementing procedures and documentation to ensure that Vote Audit is aligned with ISO and Sarbanes Oxley, as well as Broadridge corporate policies, and SEC and NYSE regulations

  • Identify reportable issues and potential risk, and communicate findings to management

  • Document and resolve any errors discovered during the audit process; review assigned domestic, contest, and special processing voting prior to vote issuance, and work with client services to ensure appropriate documentation has been received

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors in their reviews of the voting process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Auditing, Accounting, or Quality Assurance

  • Knowledge of advanced Excel formulas and v-lookups with the ability to build charts, pivot tables and macros

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to analyze and understand complex transactions

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within established time constraints; strong interpersonal skills in order to interact closely with various levels of staff and management
     

The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
